Hey, nice to see you here!
I'm Ayushman, a fresh grad from Centennial College's Public Relations - Corporate Communications program.

I'm a storyteller with a passion for all things photo and video related. I'm committed to amalgamate my camera skills with everything I've learnt so far about Communications. It is my desire to tell stories and have them heard.

Campaigns
Dear Toronto
Dear Toronto is a peer-to-peer campaign launched by some of my classmates and I for Centennial College's International Support Department.
This campaign aims at helping incoming international students have a successful transition to Toronto by sharing stories of struggle of some of our peers and ways that they overcame them. We are also making international students aware of the resources that Centennial College can provide and make their academic life smoother. Through this campaign, we are tackling key issues international students face; Affordability, Commuting and Mental Health.
This is a multi-media campaign with short documentary-style videos posted on YouTube and personal stories shared on Instagram.
I produced the following videos as Director, Videographer and Editor. Two of the videos featured in this campaign are posted below. Our team received CBC coverage for the campaign and the videos.

Short Film
I produced this short film with a friend of mine to challenge ourselves and see if we could make a short film in a day. The entire film took just two days to shoot and edit.
Seneca Frost
Seneca Frost was a winter concert hosted by Seneca Polytechnic in Toronto. High profile Canadian artists like Bohemia, Ali Gatie, A.R Paisley and Dana Vicci performed on stage. My role involved photographing the artists and editing them in post.

Noche Latina
I was part of the organizing team of Noche Latina, a Latin themed fundraiser event. We had Latin artists do a musical set, a salsa dance lesson and a trivia round. We raised funds for Romero House, a charity that works for helping newly arrived refugees in Toronto.
I helped with the logistics, sponsorships, venue set-up & tear down for the event and was also the photographer for the event.

The Spring Bloom
The Spring Bloom was an event conducted by students of the Public Relations - Corporate Communications program at Centennial College. It was aimed at raising awareness towards 'art therapy' and to raise funds for 'Daniel's spectrum'. I volunteered as a photographer.

Haul for Hope
During my internship at Hope Air, I volunteered to photograph their first ever Haul for Hope event at Toronto's Billy Bishop Airport. Haul for Hope was a fundraiser aimed at helping Canadians in need of medical care with accommodation and travel arrangements.

Earthquake devastates parts of Turkey and Greece
A 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Aegean Sea on Friday sending shock waves to the coasts of Turkey and Greece causing extensive damage to property and loss of life.

The earthquake caused an apparent sea surge in Izmir, Turkey, with videos from social media showing gushing water and a deluge like situation. A mini tsunami was also caused off the coast of the Greek island of Samos.

Four buildings were destroyed and more than 10 collapsed in Izmir due to the quake. More than 70 people have been rescued from the wreckages of the collapsed buildings. Most of the damage in Turkey was limited to the Izmir province. In Greece, Samos was the most affected, but tremors were felt all the way in the capital city of Athens.

The Turkish agencies reported 24 deaths and over 800 injuries, whereas in Greece two teenagers died after a building collapsed. Rescue operations are ongoing to find trapped residents under the rubble.
